REGULATION

All participants should wear BIB number in order to count and receive their official time and be eligible for prize winning. BIB number shall be worn on the front of the T-shirt and it shall be kept visible and in good conditions during the entire race in order to be easily identified by the referees of the competition. The timing chip should be placed on the competition number in the position recommended by the organizers in order for the recorded time to be validated, and for the eligible participant to win prizes. The modification, alteration in any way or giving the competition number or chip to another person shall automatically cause the disqualification of the participant.

Several points shall be installed to record the time of the participants during the race.

If, during the race, a participant loses the competition number, he/she shall immediately notify the race referees, otherwise being automatically disqualified. The inadequate behaviour towards other participants, organizers, officials or spectators shall cause the direct disqualification of the participant and notification of the authorities with regard to the concerned situation.

All participants should be medically, physically and mentally apt. The participation in the event is at the participant’s own risk, him/he undertaking all the risks afferent to the carried out activities. By registering and participating in the event, each athlete agrees for the participating organisers, sponsors, sellers, volunteers, institutions or officials and personnel in charge of the event not to be considered responsible for the accidents or prejudices suffered as a result of participating in such event. In order to participate in the event, each registered person shall have to sign the participation consent prior to the race.

The disabled adults may participate in the Popular Race and 10km Race. The athletes in wheelchairs and are self-propelled shall enter the ranked list of the “wheelchairs” category. The adults with motor disabilities who participate in wheelchairs pushed by third persons or in other categories different from the aforementioned one shall participate in the event, but they shall not be included in ranked list.

The minimum age to participate in the 10 km Race is of 10 years completed on the race date. The minimum age to participate in the Popular Race is of 8 years completed on the race date. The minors between 8 and 14 years old may participate in this competition only accompanied by an adult, with their consent and under their strict supervision during the entire competition. All athletes less than 18 years old should provide the identity document and the written consent of one of their parents or legal guardian. The corporations, schools and other organisations which register in a group shall be responsible for collecting and submitting such documents to the organisations prior to the race for the minors from such groups.

All participants should wear adequate sports gear during the entire race.

The 10 km race shall be open to participants for two hours from the start, afterwards, the road being reopened for traffic, the safety of the participants no longer being guaranteed as of such time.

The half marathon race shall be open to participants for four hours from the start, afterwards, the road being reopened for traffic, the safety of the participants no longer being guaranteed as of such time.

The participants who cannot finish the race in time shall not receive an official result.

The final registration date is 06 september 2020.

During the race and associated events, it is not allowed to promote companies, products and/or services which are not authorized in advance by the organisers or are competitors of the sponsors and/or partners of this event.

All participants should have and be prepared to present a valid identity document which to confirm the age – in order to be eligible to win the offered prizes. Before the prizes are granted to the participants, they have to wait the verification and validation of the results by the officials.

The doping tests may be requested to any participant prior or after the race, this representing an eligibility condition for prize granting. The participant who wins a prize and refuses the test, or his/her doping test result is positive shall have to return the prize, and the authorities shall be notified in this respect.
